DR. DANI PEINADO

Dr. Daniella S. Peinado is an Endodontist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics. She has practiced dentistry for 23 years and specializes in Root Canal Treatment, also known as Endodontics. A native of Brazil, she graduated from the University of Cidade de São Paulo with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993 and opened a private practice in Sao Paulo and served that community for 14 years. She relocated to Northeast Florida and continued her education focusing on Endodontics and Apical Surgeries completing a fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics and Endodontic residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center IB Bender Division of Endodontics (Philadelphia, PA).  While in residency Dr. Peinado evaluated and treated trauma cases coming out of the emergency room (a level 1 trauma center) and trauma cases including cracked and chipped teeth continue to be an area of focus for her practice and the educational programs she administers.

After completing her residency, Dr. Peinado was invited to join a prestigious practice limited to Endodontics located in Chicago.  Missing the warm weather and Florida beaches, she decided to return to Florida and settled on the First Coast area to call home and raise her daughter. Upon relocating to Jacksonville, Dr. Peinado began teaching at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics in Gainesville and opened a new office in Jacksonville South Bartram Office Park called endodontics | bartram park, which is dedicated to Root Canal Therapy, Apical Surgeries and Traumatic Dental Injuries. Dr. Peinado is a member of the AAE Foundation Board of Trustees and Chair of the AAE Foundation’s OutReach program that provides Endodontic care to underserved communities.

Dr. Peinado’s approach to dental care reaches far beyond the mouth and teeth and she focuses on the person in front of her tailoring each treatment plan to address their unique needs. Patients are provided uncompromising care using modern technology combined with tried and proven techniques administered by experienced and caring hands. The office is a soft and tranquil environment using natural elements and light to relieve stress and restore balance. Advanced technologies are used to efficiently gather information at intake and move you through treatment and check out. The office is equipped with Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to render a 3D image of the affected area for creating a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan and all procedures are performed under a surgical microscope to magnify the treatment area enabling Dr. Peinado to deliver the most accurate and effective treatment possible.

Dr. Peinado resides in Ponte Vedra with her daughter Nina and her Lab dog Luna. When she is not seeing patients at her office in Bartram Park, or lecturing at University of Florida in Gainesville, Dr. Peinado enjoys spending time with friends and family, often at the beach, and always with a Bossa Nova tune playing in the background.
